It was my wife and I’s first time to New Orleans as an adult, and first we had a different restaurant picked out in the French Quarters, but decided to just stop here because they served breakfast and mimosas! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, with a very thick French accent. The atmosphere is great, tables were a little close to my liking but it didn’t matter because the food was AMAZING! I got the Chicken St Charles “Bennie” my first time ever having eggs Benedict and they did not disappoint! My wife even said “ This is the most flavor I’ve had in a breakfast in my life!” If you’re looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot please don’t count them out! Oh and the mimosas was good as well.

We sat with Chris and he was truly personal and fun to talk to! The hostess who sat us was very friendly and nice to talk to as well! We ordered and the food and mimosa were great! This place is uniquely decorated as well! Such a neat place and lots of good options! I’m not a pancake guy but the bread pudding pancakes are to die for, particularly the white chocolate one. All items were fresh and delicious! Everything looked so good we truly struggled on which items to order. Highly recommend this gem! We will be back for sure

We actually visited two of their locations, one was extremely loud and the other one not so much. This one is the smaller/quieter location. The service at both locations was good, they were attentive and friendly. We did try the avocado toast and fried green tomatoes, they were pretty good. My friends tried the champagne flight and they weren't too impressed. So if you're hungry, stop by and have some good food. Enjoy! Cheers!

I am no stranger to the Ruby Slipper, but it was my first time at this location. We went on a Sunday with no reservations and were lucky to get a table in 10 minutes. I enjoyed the Spanish Omelette with chicken sausage and it was exciting breakfast perfection. My partner loved the Hot-Smoked Salmon Omelette which was a unique and pleasing combo. I also loved their vanilla ice coffee here that helped start my engines to face the Nola heat.

If you really want to have a taste of the true New Orleans experience? Must stop by the Ruby Slipper/Sunshine! Amazing the food was beyond delicious, atmosphere is just terrific and the service is so welcoming and warm. LOVED Kelli and Melissa at the bar. Gave me the best fried green tomatoes BLT! The Irish coffee with true espresso!

We loved Ruby Slipper so much we went back for a second day in a row during our recent trip to New Orleans. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with the sweet heat fried chicken and the chicken was excellent! Juicy and flavorful! The biscuits are good as well. No one was really upset with anything they ordered!

Cute diner with multiple locations. I have been two times and the food was good each time. They have my second favorite biscuit, which, if you know, you know, it is hard to find. Between Biscuits and Gravy and Eggs Cochon, everything was delicious! One thing that sets them apart, sugarcane butter that is served with their biscuits.

I tried The Ruby Slipper for the first time this week and it did NOT disappoint. We ordered Shrimp and Grits with a side of the Sweet Heat Chicken and Morning Margaritas. The shrimp and grits were really good. I've had them at other places that I think tasted more flavorful but they were good. The star of the show was the chicken! I will absolutely be back to have that again. It was perfectly seasoned and delicious enough to have me thinking about it HOURS later. And it was 5 for the two pieces we got, which is a great price. The drinks were good, too. The service was excellent! There was a good sized line when we arrived but we didn't have to wait for too long, which surprised us.
